Africa - Egypt - Cairo
Considered the national dish, known simply as ful, it is basically a stewed fava beans cooked with olive oil, cumin, parsley, garlic, onion, lemon juice, chili pepper and some vegetables and herbes. It is specially traditional and common in Cairo and in Gizah but this dish can also be found in other Middle Eastern and African countries.
