Plaza de la Merced is one of the main squares in the city and one of the most beautiful. It is also known as the Square of the market, because in the past it was where the street market was taking place. It is nowadays known as the square where Pablo Picasso used to play when he was a kid. Nowadays, inside the building you can find the Fundación Casa Natal de Picasso where you can also visit some of his pieces, and in many of them you can admire the influence which Malaga had in his work.
