The Orsay Museum in Paris is one of the delights of impressionism as it reflects the broader collection of artworks of this pictorial movement. Works by Manet, Degas, Renoir or Courbet are displayed inside this building. The museum occupies the former Orsay railway station and its construction also takes anyone's breath away when entering the building. A typical and almost obligatory photo is one of the big clock inside that far exceeds the human scale.

Many say that the museum is an essential visit during your stay. In addition, another thing that makes it a magical place is its location; to arrive to the plaza where you will find the museum entrance your must pass the Seine River. A curiosity  is that there are 6 bronze statues in this place, representing the continents of the globe, each with its own features and peculiarities. The Orsay Museum is a place I recommend visiting if you have some free time and love art.
