The San Cristobal Canyon is one of the wonders of the island of Puerto Rico. Hidden between Aibonito and Barranquitas, it's the deepest canyon of all the Caribbean islands. The Usabón river passes through the Central mountain range and water flows as waterfalls are found at various points of this corner of nature. The natural spectacle is assured. It is better to visit the site with someone who knows where he is because access is between rocky walls and impressive trees. In San Cristobal Canyon one can enjoy adventure activities like rappelling, hiking and even bathing in the waterfalls. It's best to go with good shoes, a towel and all you feel is necessary to have a good time walking, watching, jumping and whatever it else it takes.
