At the other side of Vístula there's one of the newest areas of the city: Prague district. This neighborhood is out of the tourists area and not long ago had a dubious rep. It became famous for holding the bohemian area of the city, home to artistic-bohemian life in Warsaw. Many think of it as the most authentic area of the city, since it holds the majority of soviet times and pre-WWII buildings. Many atists live there and many buildings have become benefit societies, hence becoming the fashionable, most characteristic district in the city.
