NoDa Arts District is a very popular spot in Charlotte, specially among youngsters. It's the nest for many artists and cultural movements and the place where the city's most creative minds are. It's the place for dramatic arts and the cradle for new cultural tendencies in Charlotte.
The area is filled with factories which were restored in the 80s by many artists, which gives it a unique looks. The environment is both dynamic and youthful, packed with restored bars with persons hanging around.
The district is in the north part of the city and has over 10 art galleries, restaurants with innovative designs, exclusive shops, concert halls and theaters. It's a very interesting place to meet Charlotte's other face and to dive into North Carolina's cultural movements.
