Mount Doi Pui is the second mountain which makes up Soi Tuthep-Pui National Park. In this area you can visit a very famous village from the Hmong tribe: Ban Kun Chang Kian. The village has been able to maintain their traditions and believes because there's relatively little tourism. Hence authenticity is one of its biggest attractions. It's definetely worth walking around and finding out its residents lifestyle and pace but without drawing any attention.Besides Ban Kun Chang Kian, Maeo Village is also worth visiting, but it has steadily become a tourist attraction and there are more and more souvenir shops in it.
Between Doi Pui and Doi Suthep there's the Royal Winter Palace or Bhubing Palace which is still frequented by the Thai Royal Family.
