A very typical dessert during the Ramadan fasting, is this dish which is basically dough balls made of butter, milk, flour, sugar, saffron and cardamom, something similar than the dumplings, but deep-fried and dipped in sugar syrup or honey, crunchy on the outside and soft inside.
