Laulau is a dish frmo mixing fish-usually butterfish-with chicken, beef and pork. To cook it a natural oven -imu- must be built on the floor with a hole in the land. That's why many times people cook it on the beach. The food is covered in taro leaves, a tuber typical from Hawaii. Then they get them by volcanic rock previously lit to make them burn to cook the mix.
