Thali is one of the most famous dishes from northern India and you can enjoy it at any restaurant in Mumbai. It's a menu served in a wide tray with several bowls and containers filled with several ingredients and sauces. The typical Thali is composed of rice, chapati or pappad, paneer (cheese), vegetables and curd (yogurt) among others. The good thing about Thali is that you can eat until you burst as the waiters are filling the bowls until you stop. Thali is usually eaten with your hands using pappad and chapati or with a spoon.
