Clam Chowder is a typical clam soup of the Manhattan area. Some people say this soup has a British origin and other say it originated in Manhattan. The dispute is served, though each one of them uses slightly different ingredients to prepare it. In New York, the soup's made with tomato sauce and crackers. In England the main ingredient is cream though. It doesn't matter where it cmoes from, since you're in New York we choose Clam Chowder Manhattan style!
