The Panamanian Sancocho is one of the most particular dishes of the Panama cuisine. The real Panamanian stew is made with chicken nd it is served as a soup. The dish is a stew made of meat, cilantro, oregano, onion, garlic, vegetables and a pinch of salt. The chicken is simmered keeping it wet with water streams. Once the dish is cooked, yam is added and is served with rice.
