If you like history and museums, you're gonna feel at home at the Antalya's Museum. Though the building from the outside isn't much of a looker, it houses some of Turkey's greatest treasures, sculptures, coins, things from loads of time periods (from the Palaeolithic to the modern era) Among between the things that stand out the most are the Seleukeia mosaics, the imperial statues and the sarcophagi. Every item is well explained, well kept, neat and contextualized so it's a very good idea to visit the museum on a rainy day or when you feel you want to dig a little deeper in the history of the country you're visiting.
