One of the main symbols of Cairo city is this 187 metres high tower, with great views to the whole greater Cairo. It has one rotation every 70 minutes. It was built in 1954 but in 2004 it was renewed. It is definetely recommended to enter and climb up to the top to admire the unique views. Maybe the best time to do it is in the sunset time.
