One of the most famous and well recognized Swiss ingredients world wide: the Swiss cheeses. Each region of the country has its own variety but the most well known are probably the Gruyer, the Emmental, the Tête de Moine, the Vacherin and the Appenzeller. But in Switzerland, there are more than 450 varieties of cheese and of course, the most traditional recipes in the country have this ingredient as the main one: the Raclette and the Fondue.
