The Xuixo

Xuixo is a sweet typical of the province of Girona. It has this name because it's a pastry filled with cream. It's cylindrical and fried in oil and then coated in sugar. Today, the txutxos are considered as a "product of the earth" by Generalitat de Catalunya (the Catalan Government).
