Soups are a very typical recipe in the Russian cuisine. One of the most popular ones is the Schi, made out of cabbage, carrot, onion, garlic, cellery, pepper and spices and herbes. To this they add some sour milk or cream and some other ingredients a bit bitter. Sometimes it also has some meat and mushrooms.
