Middle East - Jordan - Amman
The Mansaf is a typical dish from Jordan, although is also very popular in other countries from the Middle East. It is made with lamb, cooked at a slow flame, with a sauce or yogurt broth, fermented and spiced, usually served with rice, although there are other recipes that serve it with other ingredients. It is usually served on a plate or big tray, with a base of thin bread. The mansaf is thought to be shared and eaten with family and friends.
