Europe - Finland - Helsinki
Porilainen is a very typical sandwich in Finland. It's normally sold in street or mobile food stalls. The main ingredients are bread and a sausage called Korpelan Metsästäjänwurst. It also has chopped onion, pickles and mustard or mayonnaise sauce, though the recipe varies a little depending on the consumer. Given all these ingredients, this dish is part hamburger and part garnished hot dog.
