Central America + Caribbean - Puerto Rico - San Juan
Mofongo is a popular dish in Puerto Rico. It mixes the sweet taste of plantains with that toasted flavor of pork rinds and a little bit of garlic. It is customary to serve it with beef broth. Although the composition is a little strange at first glance, the result will surprise you. We recommend that, if you decide to eat mofongo, ask for the amount they are going to serve. It is a rich and heavy food so if you fancy, you can share it with someone else.
