Mandel soup is a typical soup of the Israeli traditional cuisine. Curiously, the name indicates it’s an almond soup, but that’s not true at all. It’s a soup of small pieces of crunchy bread. Normally, these pieces are bright yellow and are made of flour with palm oil. Those are usually one of this delicacy’s characteristic elements.
