Cape St. Vincent is located a few km away from Sagres, which makes it so easy to visit both sites during the same day. Most of people use to go to Cape in the afternoon to admire the views from the cliffs during the sunset. A part from the place’s beauty, the best plan is walking around and admire the natural views, but be careful if you have vertigo! From Cape St. Vincent to the North it starts the Vicentine Coast and the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, a protected area usually not touristy at all. There the beaches are emptier and calmer and they are a common place for the surfers, specially the beaches of Amado and Vale Figueira.
