The coast of Albufeira is one of the most visited areas in Algarve. Albufeira is a village with a beautiful historic centre full of tight streets and surrounded by breathetaking beaches. The most remarkable beach in Albufeira is the famous Praia Dos Pescadores, you can have access to it from the Old Town of the village, and also, you’ll find some escalators going up to a viewpoint with idyllic views.. Other well known beaches in the zone are: Gale Beach, Castelo Beach or Falesia Beach.
A part from the beaches, in Albufeira’s centre you’ll find many interesting buildings and sites with a very unique arquitecture and a lot of history. The square Largo Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco –decorated with tropical trees-, the Ermide de Sao Sebastiao – with a Manuelina door-, or the Torre do Relógio are some of its architectural jews.
