Central America + Caribbean - Costa Rica - Costa Rica
The gallo pinto is one of the most common dishes of the Costa Rican cuisine. A delicacy that is made with a base of rice with beans and chicken, although the recipe depends on the chef, and they may add other ingredients, like tomatoes, eggs or sausages. It tends to be eaten for breakfast, although it is also served as lunch or dinner. It is a very recurrent dish on the tables!
