The tamal is very common delicacy in many countries in Latin America and its appearance is really characteristic. Generally, a dough is prepared with meat, fruit or vegetables, and it’s wrapped with broiled corn leaves, although sometimes they are wrapped with other materials. The delicacy is heated or broiled and one important thing is that, you don’t eat the leaves that wrap the tamal.
