Olivier salad, commonly known as Russian salad, is quintessentially Russian. It's prepared using boiled potatoes, peas and carrots and then accompanied with mayonnaise. In many cases the recipe is accompanied by other ingredients such as tuna or corn, depending on personal preferences or on the chef's preference. In some Russian food businesses it's called Stolichnaya and it's a dish usually eaten on New Year and at family celebrations.
