Dead Sea

The Dead Sea is Earth’s most salted lake. It was baptized with this name because the high level of salinity stops plants from growing or animals from living there. The sea shares borders with Israel and Jordan, and it’s one of the great touristic attractions of both countries. From Tel Aviv, there are specific routes that reach the lake, though it’s better if you visit it with a guide or in a packed tour. The landscape of the Dead Sea is so different from the rest of the lakes we know that it turns it into an exceptional place. The visits are spectacular and it’s recommendable to spend a day In the beaches habilitated for visitors. It's allowed to swim, although you must be careful not to do it for too long and no to get your head underwater!
