Baha’i Gardens, in Haifa, are one of Israeli’s most popular places of interest and the international headquarters of Baha’i faith. This religion preaches that there’s only one God and the rest of the people are messengers that spread his message “The land is only one country and humanity are all of its citizens.” The sanctuary is an introduction to the Baha’i religion and it’s the resting place of Báb, the man that announced the arrival of Bahá'u'lláh, the last messager of God on Earth. It took almost two decades to build these gardens, but its architecture, fauna and flora are so spectacular that every year thousands of pilgrims reach Mount Carmelo, in Haifa, to visit this exceptional place. In 2008, UNESCO included these gardens as World Heritage Sites. The gardens remain open only at certain times of the day, so make sure to check them before visiting.
